SUEDE COAT
February 18, 2016

Suede has been a fabric I can’t seem to get enough of this season. I love playing with textures and there have been so many great pieces lately – everything from jackets, tops to skirts. At NYFW one couldn’t help but notice the suede overload being rocked by the show attendees. I recently invested in two suede skirts (this scallop one and this more classic one) that I have been pairing with over the knee boots (last seen here) for the cooler weather months. Definitely looking forward to being able to style these in different ways as the weather warms up.

I had so much fun shooting these images in Central Park, as it had been one of the quietest days I have seen there in forever. Typically the park is packed with tourists and city-goers, but in the winter months you can find only few and far between. If you ever need a bite when visiting the park, make sure to enjoy brunch at The Boathouse on a nice day and sit outside. It is perfectly described as an urban oasis and a haven for romantics and nature lovers. You will find rowboats drifting about the lake as you enjoy your meal and enjoy the view!
