After many years of trial and error, I have the perfect gift for anyone on your list: sunglasses. No surprise here, that I have a slight love affair with sunglasses. It is something that can (and should) be very personal and can truly set the tone of your entire outfit. There is probably no other accessory that I would prefer to invest in than a good pair of sunglasses that I know I will get a ton of use out of. Lately, my go-to gift for friends and family has also been a nice pair of sunglasses. Just this past weekend I got my mom a pair of Ray-Ban aviators (which she loved!) – she insists that I “stole” her old pair years ago, so I owed her. Gifting sunglasses can really work for any gender or age and can be a timeless item that everyone appreciates.
I typically gravitate towards Nordstrom when selecting sunglasses. They have a wide variety and always free shipping both ways just in-case you want to try a few different pairs! Ray-Ban has been one of my favorite brands, and I can embarrassingly admit to owning more then a couple pairs. The classic wayferer is an oldie but goodie that I have had for ages, but often forget to wear. I love the more casual shape which paired perfectly with this stripe poncho and booties for walking around the city.
A little secret: Matt also loves Ray-bans and we tend to actually wear each others pairs all the time because almost every pair is unisex. I personally can barely tell the difference and sometimes prefer the wider frame of the male version. Nordstrom also is continually price matching, where they will do the work for you, finding the item at a lower cost and honoring that cost on their site. A win win, especially during the holiday season!
