The other day I happened to pop into Anthropologie during my lunch break to pick up a few ornaments that I saw were on sale (if curious: 1, 2, 3, 4 — I listed the meaning behind these below). Matt and I decided to start collecting ornaments a few years ago from places we travel so our Christmas tree will be filled with great memories. Since we started this tradition I love finding other ornaments to compliment those from afar and still having meaning to us. It has quickly become a little holiday hobby of mine. Typically I wait until the end of each season when they are all on sale, but when I saw these were 20% off I couldn’t resist.
With Anthropologie, I am slightly addicted to not only their clothes, but their home products as well. While there I stumbled upon this turtleneck sweater poncho and instantly fell in love with the tassel detailing and oversized feel. If you haven’t noticed already this season, I have been gravitating towards everything and anything oversized. It makes getting dressed in the morning so much easier when I know I will be cozy all day!
A little holiday shopping tip for saving this season is to actually start giving your typical “junk” e-mails a quick read. Almost everyone is including a different sale each week and you can score amazing products at a discount! We recently bought this couch from West Elm for 20% off and I am so grateful I took a minute to open the e-mail and read about the sale. It is also how I heard about the Anthro sale as well. Although I know the big sales typically start on “black friday”, I’ve been pleasantly surprised to see so many great sales already happening. It seems like every time I go to post a new item I learn that it’s already on major sale!

Meaning behind ornaments purchased:
2. I love the meaning behind the wishbone, but also Thanksgiving will be our first holiday together as a married couple.
3. I picked up the letter “K” for…you guessed it, Kremer!
4. We got married in Philadelphia, which is widely known for their Philadelphia soft pretzel!
