FALL DATE
November 18, 2015

Finally I feel completely settled back in the city. I have to admit, it feels good to get back into my regular routine and not be so overwhelmed with wedding planning on top of working/blogging! Matt and I spent this past weekend enjoying each other’s company, catching up with some friends, and hitting up a few of our favorite spots, while enjoying the gorgeous weather. We strolled through Gramercy and made a much needed pit-stop at Shake Shack in Madison Square Park. Something about eating outside at the original shake shack makes the experience (and the food) that much better! RIP wedding diet! There is a dog park right inside the park, so its great to bring Hadley along and then let her play (and work off those fries). Afterwards we made our way over to Eataly (one of my favorite spots in the city, but only when the crowds aren’t insane) to pick up fresh homemade pasta and mozzarella to make chicken parm for dinner. It was a pretty perfect day in the food department.

My go-to look this time of the year tends to be cozy sweaters. They are so easy to dress up or down and I find myself stocking up, especially when a good sale rolls around. This burgundy color has Thanksgiving Day potential written all over it, possibly with a denim skirt and over the knee boots!
