This time of year, I start to get excited about all the layering and chunky knits I get to pull out of the back of my closet, indulging in all things pumpkin, cooking crock pot meals on the weekend and watching movies from the comfort of my couch (but with the wedding just a month away, I’m not sure how much relaxing I’ll get in this year!) When I do head out to enjoy the crisp fall air you can typically find me wrapped in a cozy sweater and flats or heels depending where I am headed. The tassel fringe on this River Island sweater is the perfect detail allowing it to be dressed up or down.

When heading out straight from work I love using a bigger tote to carry a pair of heels or anything I need to effortlessly transition day to night. On this evening, Matt and I set out down to my old neighborhood to indulge in a delicious dinner at a charming spot called The Redhead. It is a must try spot in the East Village where their menu is small, yet delicious. I typically start my meal with the same things: bacon peanut brittle (you can also buy a bag to-go) and the house made soft pretzels. Afterwards just down the block you can swing by Momofuku Milk Bar for a treat – their compost cookie is to die for!
