OLDE PINK HOUSE
August 6, 2015

I can’t chat about my trip to Savannah without mentioning one of the best dinners Matt and I might of ever had. The Olde Pink House was recommended to us by friends before we left on our trip. We were able to snag reservations for the Friday night we flew in, and it honestly surpassed any and all expectations. It is one of Savannah’s most popular restaurants, which offers new southern cuisine right inside the only 18th century mansion. Each room is decorated differently, which reflect the classic, sophisticated southern charm, but don’t worry, you can go there dresses casually! I wore the romper below.

The homemade bread selection and sweet butter alone was enough to let us know we needed to make all the room we could for this meal. We started off with their classic shrimp and grits and mac and cheese jalopeno poppers. Following those appetizers, we ordered the infamous BLT salad with fried green tomatoes, that was featured on “Best Things I Ever Ate“. I can now attest, that this truly is one of the best things I have ever ate!

We finished the meal with their recommended flounder dish, which was excellent and I stuck with the salmon. The chef is all about personalization and will customize the menu and your selections exactly to your taste.
