Calling all ladies who have a summer wedding to attend, or are simply in the market for a super cute maxi, this Sonora dress is the answer. I have a slight situation on my hands, being that Anthropologie is in walking distance from my work and now that the weather is nice I find myself stopping by a little too often (i.e. pretty much during every lunch hour). Great for my closet, not so much my wallet! The material is a dressier silky fabric, in a more relaxed and casual silhouette, which allows it to be worn for so many occasions. While I am still debating what summer wedding to wear this dress to, I went for a more casual look for walking around the city and heading to dinner at The Mermaid Inn (their Sunday Lobsterpalooza is my absolute favorite). I am thrilled that all the restaurants are starting to bring back outdoor seating and open up their front windows and doors. Speaking of lobster, I cannot wait to jump on board the North River Lobster Company, a boat that circles the Hudson every hour and sells delicious lobster rolls (my girlfriend and I did this last year for my birthday and it was a blast). If you can’t tell by now, I am a humongous seafood fan, all the more reason I love summer in the city. If you are visiting NYC and need a few recommendations feel free to shoot me an e-mail…my list is never ending!
PS – If you are in the market for a great strapless bra (I feel like I wear one daily with warmer weather) I am a big fan of Vanity Fair’s. It has a grip lining on the inside which does a great job of preventing any slipping.
