MIDI OVERLAY DRESS
April 10, 2015

TGIF! This might be my best Friday in awhile since it is being spent with girlfriends in Florida. I am semi wishing I packed this midi overlay dress to toss on after the beach, but left it at home, still packed away in my other suitcase from Easter weekend. Is anyone else guilty of not unpacking right away? I either need everything put away asap, or I leave it in the suitcase until I have energy to do so (or wishfully think Hadley could take over this chore). What I love most about this dress is the free-flowing overlay that gives it a slight bohemian feel. Also, I own a lot of midi length skirts, but not many (if any) dresses, and the cut of this dress makes it perfect for wearing sandals or wedges without it dragging on the ground or looking too short. I kept things simple with my hair back in a ponytail (thank you wind) and perforated booties and aviators. Whenever I am home in the suburbs I have to re-learn to embrace nature and the trees and to relax and slow things down a bit. I need more of this in my life and am trying to make an effort to create more “me” time and to put down the phone once in awhile!
